The owner of a Southeast Austin apartment complex where a second floor balcony collapsed last week received 30 citations from Austin Code Compliance officers on Monday.
No one was injured in the collapse, but more than 150 residents were evacuated from their homes by city officials as safety issues were found in the 15 buildings of the Wood Ridge apartments.
Each citation carries a fine of up to $2,000 per day until repairs are made, according to city officials.
