The future is now. Instead of earning their stripes and honing their craft on JV - the following gentlemen learned on the job, and excelled on Varsity. In our humble opinion, these are the best Class of '15 players our Austin-area has to offer.

No Offensive Linemen?

Ramirez note, added
RR, thanks for the Ramirez note! Could never track down defensive stats for Dragons. Makes he and Del Valle's Khalid Taylor as the only sophomores to rack up triple digit tackles from the Austin-area.

Oline, area note
Oline, this year was a different season. While 17-4A's all district list won't be voted on until January 10th...on record, only one OL was named 1st or 2nd team all-district by the coaches. Del Valle's Anthony Herrera.

Center
Will Noble, sophomore Center, from Rouse (#72 pictured above with teammates Alger & McCrary). Played every down of offense in regular season and most of five playoff games.

Little De La Cruz
Linebacker Nikko De La Cruz from Hendrickson. Dude stepped on the scene after injuries, then never stepped back off. He'll be the only returning starter in the linebacking core, and after his huge impact this season he will only get better.

Nikko deserves the add!
Above, you are absolutely right. He has a couple of picks, too. Great v. pass and run. Added.

Connally O-line
Gabriel Hernandez started every game this season over seniors and all and while watching film coaches never had much to complain about his performances and will be a power house next year can't wait for the green bowl

ha ^
love the comment on Gabriel. its tough when o-linemen are putting up stats to garner recognition - but talking with Coach Mac, he was very complimentary. He's very happy to have him back next year. added.
