Fanstand confirms former Stony Point WR Coach Charles Taylor will become McCallum's new offensive coordinator/quarterback coach. Coach Taylor follows new head coach Jason Cecil in a move from the Tigers to Knights.
Taylor inherits a talented trio base of QB Griffin Steusser (Senior '13), RB Deon Baker (Senior '14) and WR Willie Mays Jr (Senior '14). Griffin is a returning all-district talent, who put up monster numbers with part time QB play in 2011 (over 1700 pass yard, 19 total TDs). As quarterback coach, Taylor will also be responsible for grooming Steusser's replacement for 2014 (Garrett Hemphill or Kristopher Reyes).
