The introduction of i-Reporters helped Fanstand have its most successful year to date. 2013 will bring a host of fresh faces to your smart phones. Gone are talents like Tamsyn Stonebarger and Mandy Lee - but there's an interesting cast of characters returning.
The Austin-area's favorite female reporter returns! One of the 'originals', we think she'll find a career in Bristol, CT one day.
Jason Felts ('14), Austin High (15-5A, 16-5A, 26-4A)
Fanstand's first three-year letterman is back for his senior finale. Mainly focusing on his Maroons' over the past two years, we'll see Jason bring his analysis to key games across Central Texas in 2013.
Boyd Kennemer ('14), Westwood High (16-5A, 17-4A, 15-5A)
Boyd was a mid-season acquisition in 2012, and was with us through the State championships. Valuable experienced gained, our sharpest-dressed i-reporter will be everywhere this season.
THE ROOKIES:
Sammi Jones ('15), Hays High School (27-4A, 25-4A, 15-5A)
Twitter-guru and Instagram-hero, Sammi is helping spread Fanstand to our newest district (27-4A). She has already broken news stories on Coach Blake Feldt departure, and has a bright 2 Fanstand years ahead.
Joining us for Spring camp/7 on 7 coverage is Rouse cheerleader, Kathleen Kani. A featured cast member on the original Fanstand Life series, we'll have KK for a spell, reporting on 25-4A football.
Alexa is a spirited youngster, with tons of confidence. Her sports saavy and social networking skills are early signs that she will have a successful rookie i-reporting season.
