Meet Robert and Ahmad
A native of Abilene, Texas, Ahmad Brooks attended Abilene High School and lettered 8 times in football, soccer, baseball and track. But it was his football skills that got Mack Brown to sign him to play for the Longhorns from 1998 to 2001 where he became part of the winningest class in UT history. Ahmad played in the NFL for The Buffalo Bills and the New Orleans Saints before starting his broadcast career. He joins forces with Robert Jones every Sunday on Talk 1370 AM and 96.3 FM.
Robert Jones played college football at East Carolina University and was drafted in 1992 in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys where he won three Super Bowls. Robert played for 10 seasons in the NFL with the Cowboys, the St. Louis Rams, the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Redskins. Robert’s son, Cayleb Jones is a top college recruit at wide receiver from Austin High School. He has verbally committed to the University of Texas.
