Officials at Eastside Memorial High School have announced that there will not be a Varsity football team for the 2011 season.  Sporting a reported 18 total players, the school has decided to put their gridiron journey on halt for this year.  Danny Davis of Austin American Statesman reports here.  We wish head coach Darryl Crayton good luck in future endeavors.
